Caterina Scorsone is an American Canadian actress. Caterina became famous for her role as Dr. Amelia Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy. In a different drama called Private Practice, she played the role of Dr. Amelia Shepherd. Francesca Scorsone, her sister's full name is Francesca. At the age of a child actor, she appeared as child actor on the Mr. Dressup program. Her talent was showcased by playing Michelle Parker in a hit film titled Power Play. Missing was another successful film of her acting career where she played Jess Mastriani. In 2009, she demonstrated her talents as a performer as the character Alice in a film named Alice. In the aftermath of her fame as a character, she was a part of Grey's Anatomy. Amelia Shepherd was her character on the show. In the short time she was a regular part, she was promoted to the lead cast due to her stellar performance. She's been involved in numerous projects which have proved profitable throughout her career. In 1996, she was on the show first in the TV series Goosebumps. The actress also made her debut on stage in 1998 with the film, All I Want to Do.
